The Spring of Bibi Fatima-i Zahro is situated in a short distance from Yamchun village of Ishkashim district at the elevation of 3,025 meters with following GPS coordinates: (lat: 36.585934 N long: 72.154901 E). It is 83 km away from the center of Ishkashim district and 200 km away from Khorog, center of GBAO. The hot spring is surrounded with a small forest and crystal-clear water coming from the glaciers located on the peaks.

Travelling to the Site
The Bibi Fatima-i Zahro Spring is located200 km away from Khorog, the center of GBAO. It lies deep in the Wakhan Valley of Tajikistan’s Pamir mountains, in the Ishkashim district nearby the Yamchun village. It can be reached by taxi or local minibus, travelling from the district center or from Khorog.
