The mausoleumof Mavlono Obiddinis historical monumentlocated the south-eastern part of the Korez villageof Dangara district.The mausoleum was destroyed in the Sovietperiod. It is bricks were used in 1940s for the construction of the bathhouse of the kolkhoz (collective farm) of "Dangara". The villagers cordoned off the area around the mausoleum.
This an eight cornered round shape building. The tomb is made of a baked brick and is inside the mausoleum. The mausoleum consists of an underground tomb and an above-ground tomb. The above tomb has a square shape and a canopy, 150 cm high, and the above- ground building has the shape of an elongated cut corner.
The mausoleum consists of two parts: a shrine and a tomb. The inner shape of the tomb is 8- cornered and is supported by a wall. There are 4 tombs made of bricks in the mausoleum, in which Mavlono Obiddin and his relatives are buried. The shrine consists of a small pedestal. The mausoleum is made of baked bricks measuring 21x21x4.The mausoleum walls were plasteredin ancient times,and the floor was made of bricks.The mausoleum was repeatedly repaired and reconstructed. There is a high marble platform around the mausoleum. Since its walls were destroyed, it is difficult to identify the rebuilt parts of later periods. The mausoleum restoration project was designed by national architects , which corresponds to its original form.

Travelling to the Site
The mausoleum of Mawlono Obiddin is located near the center of the Danghara district. Tourists visiting Dangara from Dushanbe, from Kulob, Bokhtar and other parts of the country can regularly use various forms of transport, cars, train. There is a pretty and small airport in the town which can be used for a domestic flight. From Danghara car can be hired to travel6km and reach Korez jamoat where the site is located.
